What is Faith?
What Faith Really Is
“What is faith?” Faith is described not as something of the mind, like an opinion or belief, but as a living reality in the soul. It makes your soul’s deepest desires for God real and certain, removing doubt. True faith comes from the awakening of the soul through receiving Divine Love, not from reasoning or mental conviction.
Faith and Divine Love
Faith and Divine Love are inseparable. No one can truly have faith without having God’s Love in their soul. As you pray and receive more of this Love, your faith grows. Prayer draws God’s response, and that response brings both Love and faith together.
Difference Between Belief and Faith
Many confuse faith with belief. Belief is mental, based on thought or conviction, but faith is spiritual, based in the soul. Faith is experienced only when the soul is filled with Divine Love. Without that Love, faith cannot exist.
Prayer for Faith
When you pray for faith, you are really praying for more of God’s Love, because faith grows out of Love. The more Love your soul holds, the stronger and deeper your faith becomes.
Simply put: Faith is not intellectual belief but a living reality in the soul that grows only as Divine Love fills it. Prayer brings Love, and Love brings true faith.
