The Love That Transforms The Soul

Every soul was created with love, yet there is a higher Love that does not belong to our human nature. It is the Divine Love of our Father, waiting for each heart that turns to Him. It is not the love that was given to us at birth, nor the love that moves us to kindness or good deeds. Those are beautiful qualities of our natural love, but Divine Love is something greater. It is God’s own essence, the very substance of His Being, and it can live within us if we truly seek it.

This Love is not automatically ours. It must be chosen. It cannot be bought, earned, or received through ceremony. The only way to draw it into the soul is by sincere prayer and the heartfelt longing that opens us to the Father. When the soul yearns with all its depth for His Love, the Holy Spirit carries that longing to God and brings back a stream of Love that begins to fill and transform the soul.

The change reaches deeper than feeling, renewing the soul with the very Divinity of the Father’s Love. It begins to take on the qualities of the Father such as peace, forgiveness, patience, and a goodness that does not depend on outer things. This transformation does not happen through belief or effort but through direct communion with God.

Natural love can inspire noble things, yet it cannot hold the world together. It can be clouded by pride, ambition, and the search for power. Divine Love alone can create a brotherhood that endures, a peace that lasts, and a joy that does not fade when life becomes difficult. It is the one foundation strong enough to bind hearts forever.

This Love is near to every soul, waiting quietly for the heart to open and ask for it. God never forces His Love upon anyone, yet when we sincerely seek it with earnest longings, He responds. Such seeking can only come from a humble and repentant heart, one that has turned toward Him in faith and desire. In that humility, the heart softens and becomes receptive, and the Divine Love flows in, filling the soul with the living presence of God.

That receiving our Father’s Love is the pathway to His Kingdom and to eternal life.
