So perhaps the question is not, Where did God go?

Faith and trust are closely related, but they are not the same. Confusing them can quietly burden the soul and make people feel as though they are failing, when in fact they are growing.

Faith means believing that God exists, that God is Love, that He is willing to give His Love, and that turning toward Him truly matters. Faith begins in awareness and intention, but it does not grow on its own. Faith grows through prayer. It grows as we turn to the Father and ask Him to help us believe, to help us trust, and to help us receive what cannot come from ourselves.

A person can have real faith even while afraid, uncertain, or wounded. Faith does not require emotional calm or perfect confidence. It only requires the willingness to pray and ask the Father for help where faith feels weak.

Trust grows after faith begins to bear fruit. And faith bears fruit only when it is brought to the Father in prayer. Trust means feeling safe enough to let go, no longer bracing for loss, relying on Love rather than control, and allowing life to unfold without constant self-protection. Trust lives deeper than thought. It settles into the body, the emotions, and the habits of the soul.

A person may have faith that God loves them and that Divine Love is real, and still struggle to trust outcomes, timing, protection, or surrender. This does not mean their faith is weak. It means their trust is still healing. In these moments, the soul is not asked to try harder. It is asked to pray more honestly.

Trust is harder than faith because faith can exist alongside fear, but trust cannot. Trust only grows as fear is removed. And fear lives deep, in the nervous system, in early experiences, and in learned self-reliance.

This is why prayer matters so much. Divine Love does not scold fear away. It heals it over time. When we ask the Father for faith, again and again, Divine Love reaches the places fear lives. As fear loosens its grip, trust begins to appear naturally.

Faith says, I believe God loves me.
Prayer says, Father, help me believe when I struggle.
Trust says, I can rest in that love even when I don’t understand what is happening.

Faith reaches out.

Death is not a sudden end or a fearful unknown, but a quiet and natural transition from one form of life to another.

What we call death is not the end of life, but a gentle change of home. When the body can no longer serve the soul, the spirit body separates quietly and naturally from the physical form, and the soul awakens to continued life. Awareness does not fade. The soul simply awakens in a new world.

The passing from earth life to spirit life is calm and orderly, guided by God’s laws of love and life. The soul leaves the mortal body without struggle and finds itself still living, fully conscious, and at peace. Nothing that makes us who we are is lost. The spirit body is complete, still thinking, feeling, and aware.

At the moment of transition, the connection between the physical and spirit bodies is released. The soul may pause briefly, adjusting to this new awareness, before realizing it is alive and surrounded by loving faces. No one crosses alone. Loving friends, helpers, and ministering angels are always present to receive and gently guide each newly awakened spirit.

Each soul is drawn naturally to the place that matches its inner condition. Those who have opened their hearts to the Father’s Divine Love awaken in peace and love. Others find happiness in the spirit world through the goodness they have lived. Souls burdened by darkness or harm awaken in lower conditions, not as punishment, but as a reflection of their inner state. Divine Love is not something we earn through effort, discipline, belief, or spiritual practice. It can only be received as a gift. There is only one doorway into it. The soul must desire it and ask God for it. This does not mean we need perfect words or a spiritual feeling. The soul opens when it honestly wants God’s Love more than anything else in that moment.

To pray in this way, the soul needs faith. Faith here is not religious belief and it is not agreeing with a doctrine. Faith means trusting that God’s Love is real, that He hears us, and that He wants to give His Love to us. When the soul starts to trust God even a little, the desire for His Love becomes stronger. Many of us grew up hearing that Jesus died to pay a debt for our sins, that faith in His sacrifice would bring salvation, and that heaven would be our reward if we believed. These teachings have comforted many and they hold pieces of truth. But when we look closely at the spirit of Jesus’ life and words, something deeper begins to shine through. It is something more personal, more transforming, and filled with a love that meets the soul where it is.

When Jesus spoke of the Kingdom of God, He did not describe a place we enter only after death. He said, “The Kingdom of God is within you.” That means the kingdom is something alive within the soul. It is not a prize earned later but a change of heart that begins here and now. Jesus was showing that eternal life is not distant and future. It begins when the soul opens and receives the Love of the Father.
